Live Roller Derby in Dayton October 9th

September 13, 2016

Rec Team season is in full swing for Gem City Roller Derby

Gem City Roller Derby hits the track again on Sunday, October 9th for the second game of their Recreational Team season.

Fans can expect to see their favorite skaters like Ohio All-Stars Supersonic and Pain Train, and local superstars Reckless Ratchet and Racey Rocker take the track with the league’s bright new talent. Be among the first to witness the promising rookies bout against seasoned veteran skaters. It’s a family-friendly affair that is sure to brighten your Sunday afternoon.

“I was pretty stoked for [first] the bout,” reported rookie skater Jenny Ventling aka Zero Fox. “And also a little nervous since we have a good balance of A-Team skaters, so I knew we'd be up against some tough blockers/jammers. It felt amazing to jam successfully and have my teammates help me. Obviously winning was awesome, and being chosen for MVP meant the world to me.”
